Have you had your tubes tied and begun having several different tubal ligation side effects? Is your life a misery with you suffering from post syndrome ailments while it seems like everyone around you has no clue what is going on? Well, you should not worry any longer. You are suffering from such side effects, you are not alone, and there is a way out.
Here you can quickly learn what happened to Andrea, another sufferer just like you. At the time this article is being written, she has four children and is thirty-one. Three years ago, during the birth of her fourth child, she had her tubes tied. This was against her doctors advice. Her husband even cautioned against it.
Just like you, she soon began to notice all kinds of new things happening to her body. At first, she thought it was because she regretted the tubal ligation and that each ailment by itself was not so threatening. However, she began keeping a journal of each new symptom and realized all the symptoms together made a frightening whole.
She had cyclical migraines with nausea and vomiting, could not lose extra weight from pregnancy even with diet and exercise, erratic emotions, and extremely dry skin. In addition, she would have mid-cycle cramping and then terrible cramping during her period. This latter cramping nearly brought her to tears though she says she has a high pain threshold. Not only did she begin to spot outside her normal period, the bleeding would be so severe her doctor suspected she had menstrual anemia. Indeed, the bleeding was so severe, it caused her to leave in the middle of church because she was too weak and nauseated.
As most of us would, Andrea turned to her ob/gyn and family doctors for help and advice. Both of them told her that having your tubes tied can lead to painful heavy periods. At least her doctors admitted it. Her family doctor even went so far as to tell her that the doctor had heard of numerous cases of women having severe problems after a tubal ligation. Andrea had all sorts of tests done to rule out any other possibilities such as endometriosis, cancer or cysts but got a clean bill of health. She began looking into getting a tubal reversal for the tubal ligation side effects.
Although Andrea found many doctors in her region, including her own, that would perform a tubal reversal, she was not satisfied. Turned out the even as far away as Seattle from her home in Idaho, she could not find one doctor who maintained his/her own statistics regarding post syndrome and tubal reversal success rates. Furthermore, the price she was quoted was $12,000. For less than that, she could go to Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center and have the surgery done by one of the world’s foremost tubal reversal doctors. This included the airplane tickets and hotel stay.
Andrea decided to make that flight and had her surgery done in July of 2008. Right away her tubal ligation side effects reduced. The headaches and pain are gone. Of course, a different kind of pain could come back in early summer next year. She got pregnant within two months of the operation and is very happy. But even with her short time before doing so, she was already going back to the way she was before having her tubes tied.
So, you see you are not alone in suffering from these tubal ligation side effects and that there is a way to reduce them or have them gone. Consider getting a tubal reversal yourself and see just how much it can help you.
